Thankful

Despite the challenging economy, we are having a good year. We recently celebrated our 95th year in business and are one of the oldest family owned dealerships in all of General Motors. It was a great pleasure to see so many of our old friends at our Open House last month. We have much to be thankful for.

We really are a family at Reynolds, and one thing we believe in strongly is our involvement in our local community. Recently we sponsored an event in Azusa called the "Heart of Grub". It was put on by a local faith based initiative called Cory's Kitchen, which is an community aid organization that collects food donations and shares their food, their faith, their care, and their compassion with those in need. Last year alone they estimate that they assisted over 18,000 people.

We received a very touching letter thanking us for our assistance, which we are sharing with you here. It touched us very deeply. In this time of thanksgiving, if you find yourself able to share some of your good fortune, please consider helping them with their mission.

Their website is here.

Happy Thanksgiving to all from Reynolds Buick GMC.

West Covina (11/10/2010) – Reynolds Buick GMC of West Covina is partnering with Charter Oak Youth Football and Cheer and West Covina Youth Football and Cheer to provide the league’s players and coaches with equipment, a monetary donation, and a chance to raise up to $10,000.

In support of West Covina’s youth, Reynolds Buick GMC will provide Charter Oak Youth Football and Cheer and West Covina Youth Football and Cheer with football kits filled with equipment bags, 5-gallon water coolers, dry erase coaches’ clipboards, and t-shirts.

Offering additional support to the community, Charter Oak Youth Football and Cheer and West Covina Youth Football and Cheer will have the opportunity to raise as much as $10,000 through a fundraising opportunity where three potential grand prize winners in the West Region of the Country will be selected to win an Ultimate Tailgate/Backyard Gas Grill package and $100 Grocery Gift Card (Approximate Retail Value: $1,500 each). Reynolds Buick GMC and other Los Angeles-area Buick-GMC dealerships in the West Region are donating the Ultimate Tailgate/Backyard Gas Grill package and $100 Grocery Gift Card to the participating leagues. One-hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to the participating leagues, and they can use the funds in any way they choose. Some of the leagues have reported they plan to grant scholarships to families who cannot afford to enroll their children in the league, while others have said they will use the funds to improve fields and equipment.
